Eh, you should have been around in 2000 when Pastis first opened, you really would have had a “nice change of pace”.My morning commute includes a lot of hustle and bussle as I navigate my way through the Lincoln Center/Columbus Circle/Soho madness.
Today, I saw a different kind of morning routine in the Meatpacking District, where I met @DavidYurman for breakfast at Pastis. The typically crazed neighborhood is quite the opposite on a Wednesday AM. Calm, in fact. Serene. Quiet.
A nice change of pace.
